Many patients come to us with medical bills that far exceed their ability to pay. Non-profit hospitals, as well as with many other providers, offer some form of financial or “charity”
assistance, depending upon individual financial circumstances.

One facet of what we do in our representation is to investigate and analyze the availability of such resources for a particular client’s situation. Typically, the criteria are income based, or a combination of income and asset based. We work with you to see if you qualify for assistance and, if so, what documentation must be submitted with the application for financial aid.

We can assist with preparing your application and/or reviewing your application to determine its procedural accuracy. We will follow up with the provider on the status of your request. Further, in some limited circumstances and in the event your application is denied, we can prepare an
appeal on your behalf.

Consequently, this can be an invaluable service as there are times when money is available to pay bills that otherwise could be problematic, worrisome and long-lasting. DON’T STALL, JUST CALL Human Health Advocates! We are here to help.
